FAQs

How far in advance should we book a wedding photographer in Cornwall?

1

Most couples book their Cornwall wedding photographer 12–18 months in advance, especially for peak dates. If you have your venue secured, it’s worth enquiring sooner rather than later.

What if we’re awkward in front of the camera?

2

You wouldn’t be the first. Most of my couples say this, so the approach is relaxed, with just enough direction to keep things natural. Nothing forced, nothing uncomfortable.

How would you describe your photography style?

3

Documentary at its core, with a cinematic finish.
Real moments, as they happen, captured with intention and attention to light, composition, and atmosphere.

How do we book you?

5

Send over your wedding date, location, and a few details about your plans. If I’m available, I’ll confirm everything and guide you through the next steps to secure your date, this includes a 25% deposit and a signed contract, after which your booking is fully confirmed.

What do we need to do once we’ve booked our photographer?

6

Nothing at all for now. Once your date is secured, you can simply focus on planning your day.

About a month before the wedding, I’ll send over a short questionnaire to understand your photography preferences in more detail, and I always love a Pinterest board if you have one, it helps me get a sense of the style and feeling you’re drawn to.

In the meantime, if you need supplier recommendations, I’m more than happy to share trusted people I’ve worked with.

How do you work on the wedding day?

7

I work in a relaxed, documentary style, capturing the day as it naturally unfolds without interrupting the flow. I’ll give gentle direction when needed, but mostly I’m observing and responding to real moments.

If you’re planning your wedding, send over your date, location, and a few details about your day. If I’m available, I’ll be in touch with next steps.
